The Scott Middle Football Team will be honoring their eighth grade athletes on the last home game on September 24, 2025. All eighth graders will line up on the fence at 6:00 pm. The ceremony will begin promptly at 6:10 pm.

Mrs. Leigh Ann Henry would like to announce the eighth graders selected to be the student council for the 2026-2027 school year. These students went through a rigorous process to be selected for this honor. All students interested had to get two recommendation letters from teachers as well as write an essay explaining why they would like to participate in the student council. If chosen, the student must also maintain high standards for behavior and academic excellence. The student council work closely with the teachers and administration to assist in planning events for the school. It is our honor to announce the candidates chosen to represent Robbins Elementary School for the 2026-2027 school year. These students are: Faith Wagner, Lilly Newport, Anthony Street, Hayley Metcalfe, Isabella Lowe, Houston Carroll, Hannah Gilbert, Bella Ellis, Susan Lawson, Lydia Griffith, Alyssa Nagy, Gabriel Jordan, and Brielle Swinson. We look forward to all of the positive influences these students will make in the upcoming school year.

Scott Middle took on Oneida and the Highlander Stadium last night and was able to come out victorious. This was the first time the county has beaten Oneida in over twenty years. The game was a hard fought battle, and the Scott defense was able to keep Oneida from scoring. Quarterback Cam Howard was able to get the ball to running back Blake Leach, who was able to score the only touch down of the night. Receiver Blake Duncan was then able to get the two point conversion to bring the final score to 8-0. After last weeks annihilation of Stone Memorial in a 38-0 shut out, this brings the Scott Middles season to 2-0. Next week, the team will travel to LaFollette to take on the Owls for their first division game of the season. The game begins at 7:00 pm.

Coach Joni Byrd would like to announce that the schedule for the 2026 Cross Country season. This year's season opener will be on August 28. All meets will be at the Scott High School Track. The meets will begin promptly at 5:00 pm with the girls meet. The boys meet will follow at approximately 5:25. All runners are asked to arrive at the track by 4:30 with the appropriate attire. Weekly team and individual stand out performances will be posted on the cross country page of the Robbins website.

Coach Gary Sexton, along with the assistant coaches and volunteers, would like to announce the schedule for the 2026-2027 season. This is the first season that all of the five local middle schools will be combined to play as one individual team. The team will be called the Scott Middle.
