Meet the Teacher

     My name is Tonya Terry. This is my tenth year of teaching with the Scott County Schools. I previously taught at Scott High. I taught Algebra 1 inclusion at Scott High. I am really enjoying being at Robbins Elementary and feel truly lucky to be able to work with the best students. I have two children: Daniel and Ethan Terry. When I have free time, I enjoy reading, crafting, playing video games, and walking in nature. 

Philosophy of Education

     My philosophy is that every student is capable of learning. I believe the purpose of education is to ensure all students learn and grow to the best of their ability. I believe that all children are unique and must have a stimulating educational environment where they can grow mentally, emotionally, and socially. It is my desire to create this type of atmosphere where students can meet their full potential. I will provide a safe environment where students are invited to share their ideas.
