     Welcome to my page! My name is April Pendergrass. This is my eighteenth year teaching and I have been blessed to spend all those years here at Robbins Elementary. I was an ELA teacher in the middle school for thirteen years and now I am a middle school Science teacher. 

     I am married to my wonderful husband, Travis, who is a kindergarten teacher at Huntsville Elementary. We have two wonderful children: Easton and Harper. When I am not at school, or working on school-related things, I enjoy Reading, listening to music, and watching TikTok.

 

 

 

Philosophy of Education

It is my belief that all students are capable of learning; however, they do not all learn the same way. It is my belief that by using multiple strategies and instilling a growth mindset in my students, all of my students can reach their full individual potential.
