Meet your CTE/Computer Teacher

     My name is April Pendergrass. I was born and raised here in Scott County. I began teaching in 2006 here at Robbins, this will 

CTE teacher April Pendergrassbe my twentieth year teaching . Twelve of those years I taught English Language Arts, six Science, and this is my second year in CTE.  I have always taught middle school, but since moving to CTE, I have been teaching grades PreK-8. I love Robbins Elementary, our students,  and our school family. I have a passion for learning and want to share that passion with all of my students and make them the best version of themselves. 

     My husband Travis is a kindergarten teacher at Huntsville Elementary. We have two children: Easton and Harper. Easton is beginning his journey in middle school, while Harper is in the second grade. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my family and read.
