All About Me

     My name is Mrs. Tammy Russ. I have been teaching at RES for 18 years. I began teaching 2nd grade, moved to 4th grade, taught 5th and 6th grade Math, and this year I will continue teaching 5th and 6th grade Math.

     I am married to my husband Travis and we have been blessed with three wonderful children: Savannah, Will, and Kailtlyn, a son-in-law: Zach Couch, and a daughter-in-law: Ellie Russ. We have also been greatly blessed with our precious granddaughter Katelyn Couch

 When I'm not at school I enjoy reading, binge-watching tv, or spending time with my family.

Philosophy of Education

My vision as an educator is to educate and challenge all students in a safe, positive, and student-focused environment so that they become life-long learners. I will strive to discover and build upon each child's strength to motivate and help them reach their full potential. I will continue teaching to ensure every minute of every day counts with a quote from Todd Whitaker,
